- Minecraft 1.0 (Official Release): This was the official release of Minecraft, bringing the game out of beta status in November 2011. It introduced the End dimension and the Ender Dragon as the final boss.
- Minecraft 1.7 (The Update that Changed the World): This update, released in October 2013, overhauled the world generation with new biomes, flowers, and structures.
- Minecraft 1.8 (The Bountiful Update): Released in September 2014, this update introduced new biomes, underwater temples, guardians, and various other features.

- Minecraft 1.19 (The Wild Update): Released in June 2022, The Wild update introduced much new content to the game such as a Mangrove Swamp, the Deep Dark, the Ancient City, as well as the frog and tadpole mobs.
- Minecraft 1.20 (Tails & Trails Update): Released in June 2023, The Tails & Trails Update brought many new mobs, biomes and mechanics. This update brought the Sniffer and Camel, new mobs, plus Archaeology. It also introduced the Cherry blossom biome with it’s new wood blocks, plus bamboo wood. It also introduced chiseled bookshelves, armor trims, and hanging signs.
