Jade is a popular Minecraft mod that enhances the gaming experience by providing an interactive and highly customizable overlay. With the Jade mod, players can display a wealth of information on their screens, such as coordinates, health, status effects, and more. There’s a lot you can do with the Jade mod and the most common request is to change the position on the screen.

To customize the position of the Jade overlay using the in-game hotkey options, you’ll need to follow these steps:

1. Open the Jade Mod Menu

While in-game in Minecraft, press the hotkey that opens the Jade mod menu. By default, this hotkey is sometimes set to J, though you may need to configure it in the Controls… > Key Binds… screen.

Tip: Hit the hotkey and open the menu looking at a block in your world so that the Jade overlay is visible on the screen. That way you can see your changes live!

Once that’s opened, click the Jade Settings button

2. Access Overlay Settings:

In the Jade mod menu, you’ll find various options and settings for the mod. Look for an option related to “Overlay” or “HUD Settings.”

3. Adjust Overlay Position

Within the Appearance section, you should find options to customize the position of the Jade overlay. These options include:

Horizontal/Vertical Ratio: Sliders that adjust the horizontal (X) and vertical (Y) position of the overlay.

Horizontal/Vertical Anchor Point Sliders: The option to choose an anchor point for the overlay, which determines which part of the overlay remains fixed at the specified X and Y coordinates.

Adjust these sliders and if you opened the Jade configuration while the overlay was visible, you can see the overlay move around on your screen.

4. Apply Changes

After making the desired adjustments to the overlay position, just click ‘Done’ within the Jade mod menu. In some versions, there might be a “Save” or “Apply” button or a similar option to confirm your changes.

5. Test the Overlay

Exit the Jade mod menu and return to your Minecraft gameplay. You should now see the Jade overlay in its new position based on the settings you configured using the in-game hotkey options.
