Ars Nouveau is an amazing magic mod with lots of tech stuff for automation. If you like Botania, Wizards, Eidolon, and Astral Sorcery, you'll love Ars Nouveau.
It's got spell books that you can create your own custom spells using glyphs. You craft glyphs on a Spell table.
Everything in Ars is powered by mana, either your own personal mana to cast spells or source for magical devices to operate.
You can add special armor, artifacts, and enchantments that give you more mana faster. The more you get the more powerful spells you can cast as you progress through the mod.
There are rituals that you can set up in the world to cast spells on a location. You can automate mob farming with Drygmies, crop farming with Whirlisprigs. You can move stuff around with Starbuncles, and even auto-craft with Wixies. These are all magical mobs that you can find in the world and tame to do your busywork.
You can also create machines that automatically cast spells using spell turrets.
These are all powered by source.. You create source with special devices called SourceLinks, which can be stored in source jars. Relays help you move source around your world, from nearby to across dimensions.
