I’m starting a new series getting started on Valhelsia Fabric, a brand new modpack from the Valhelsia dev team. It’s nice to be playing modded minecraft AND minecraft 1.17. We tried starting a vanilla game as soon as 1.17 came out a few months ago and we just couldn’t live without the maps, resource mods, crafting recipes and other quality of life mods.

There’s not a lot of content yet. The big mods just aren’t ported to 1.17 yet. So let’s grow with this new modpack. Here’s the first episode where we start up, find a base, and go through some of the basic content mods that are in the pack, adding blocks and tools, like Blockus, Harvest Scythes, Immersive Portals, Twigs, and more. The big content mod so far is Tech Reborn, which is a standalone tech mod like Mekanism. We’ll get started on that in Episode 2.
